Be-Well is a British company, based in Peterborough , which specialises in the design and manufacture of unique nutritional products.
After a long career in biotechnology and the food industry, biochemist and food scientist Brian Welsby founded Be-Well. The company has developed nutrition you can trust using organic materials to create supplements which focus predominantly on the body's immune system, enabling optimum metabolic function.
More and more people become aware of the health gains to be made by understanding nutrition and its effect on how the body works. They are also realising that the processed nature of much of today's food depletes it of essential minerals and trace elements which are vital to the correct functioning of our metabolism, our immune system and our general well–being.
At Be–Well our mission has been to create products that will genuinely improve people's effectiveness in converting their body's available energy; will genuinely increase the strength of their immune system with the inevitable benefits of resistance to illness; and genuinely enhance the efficiency of their metabolism to maximise the body's performance.
We believe that nutrients do not exist in isolation in food, but as complex constituents bound intimately within a food matrix. If these nutrients are consumed in the correct form, that is - when isolated chemical supplemental nutrients are re-united with the whole food matrix to which they are native -and are incorporated in an appropriate nutrient delivery system (based on either yeast or Lactobacillus Bulgaricus), the body can easily absorb them to maximum effect.
The aim of the Be–Well nutrition line is three-fold:
- To help build an individual's immunity to stress and illness.
- To address the loss of essential nutrients in the diet and brought on through exercise.
- To increase the body's efficiency in converting available energy.
